PROJECT COVERAGE
The project was to support trade and post-EPA preparations in Côte d'Ivoire.
Two-fold purposes: Contribution to the quantitative analysis on Ivorian exports to the EU, and Strengthening of the capacities of the economic actors of the Ivory Coast.
Three-fold Project outputs:
- A document containing both quantitative and analytical information on Ivorian exports to the European Union is prepared;
- A medium-term strategy to guide the development of exports to the European Union (2020-2030) is developed and submitted to the competent authorities for approval and subsequent implementation; and
- The economic actors of the Ivory Coast are trained on negotiation processes and commercial techniques.
Intervention areas:
- EU market access;
- Data on exports to the EU;
- Value chain (market data and needs, opportunities, standards and other significant criteria for market access ECOWAS, BRICS, EU, etc.);
- Training and Capacity building
RESULTS ACHIEVED
Purpose 1: Contribution to the quantitative analysis on Ivorian exports.
- A document containing both quantitative and analytical information on Ivorian exports to the European Union is prepared;
