PROJECT COVERAGE

The overall objective of the project is to support the beneficial integration of Antigua and Barbuda into the regional and the global economy by boosting the capacity of the Antigua and Barbuda Bureau of Standards thereby, contributing to sustainable economic development and poverty reduction.

Two-fold purposes: To Develop the National Metrology Policy for Quality Infrastructure for Antigua and Barbuda; and to assist in updating the legislative framework needed to support the establishment and operation of the national metrology service.

Three-fold Project outputs:

  • The National Metrology Policy for Quality Infrastructure developed;
  • SWOT of the metrology legislative framework Analysed; and
  • the legislative framework needed to support the establishment and operation of the national metrology service updated.

RESULTS ACHIEVED
